Because of falling sales The New Home Company has been forced to put on what they call “Endless Summer Savings” sales. Which is interesting since the overall housing market sales have been increasing. The rumors are, that the quality of the NWHM homes have been lowered because of cutting corners to make more profit.
The blame is directed at the company’s CEO Larry Webb who has been lowering the company’s standards because of the pressure of needing to increase profits for the shareholders.

Is it true that the head guy of the new home co has spent over $1 million sewing to old people over a lousy $15,000. That doesn’t make sense. Can he legally spend do that? Please leave a comment with information. My father owns stock in this company.

We don’t know what all the fuss is about, But we love our new home that we bought in the Sacramento area. Just our two cents worth.
I lived down the street from Barry Spanjaard the Holocaust survivor and his wife Bunny. They were wonderful people and Barry would be turning in his grave if he knew that his home was being gassed by a man who seems to admire the Nazis.
The new home company built hundreds of homes right next to us. Why did they have to pick Mr. Spanjaard’s home as if it was a target for their hate. I was lucky that I only got a little bit of the gassing. People in Mr. Spanjaard’s home got hit with all of the diesel fumes for months.
I had to end up moving after they refuse to put up any safety measures to stop the wind from carrying all the paint and stucco they sprayed over onto our homes and cars.

I do a lot of research on the Holocaust and the remaining survivors so when I came across a story about a guy named H. Lawrence Webb, he likes to be called Larry Webb, ordering a Holocaust survivor’s home to be gassed with toxic fumes I almost fell out of my chair. The story from many of the senior citizens who live within a few feet of where Larry Webb and his company The New Home Company were building new homes is that they put a giant water tank a few feet away from these senior citizens mobile home park. And when the water trucks would would fill up their tanks they would sit idling for 10 or 12 hours every day for months flooding the senior citizen homes with heavy Diesel fumes.
In the very beginning when the people who lived in the holocaust survivors home complained it was said that Larry Webb didn’t want to move the tank to another area because it would cost over $1,000.
Then there were all the other heavy earth moving trucks and equipment running 12 to 14 hours a day running on dirty diesel and shoving dirt and heavy chemicals and particles down senior citizens throats and turning their houses, cars and sheds into filthy garbage traps. The noise was drove the folks crazy.
I believe this is one hell of a story which I will continue to investigate. I’ll come back with updates.
Please keep this blog running.

I have seen and experienced firsthand how The New Home Company treats people – especially their homeowners. Do yourself a favor and find another home builder. The New Home Co. will not keep their promises. They will beat you up on any and all work that needs to be done on your new home after the ink dries on your contract. Do NOT believe anything that they tell you. They will not make repairs in good faith after you purchase your home. Continue reading “Consumer Report: Yellen”

I work for Mr. Webb’s company and have always been treated fairly. He’s a good man who gives to charity and in fact has a charity himself. He has given a lot to the community and I don’t think it’s right for people to write all these disgusting things about him. I know Mr. Webb would never do anything to hurt anyone.

I would like to share my experience with New Home Company at Chaparral at Blackstone El Dorado Hills, I had worst experience ever at this place, only one sales person here and most rude person ever seen. I went there in the month of November to look for new house, I looked model homes and looked good to me, so I talked to Sales representative there and asked for available houses in the plan that I liked. Villa Metro is in Santa Clarita with a zip code of 91350 and it’s almost on the border of Canyon Country. So to make people feel better about where they were going to live when they buy their homes, they got the city to call the location Valencia which is more upscale.
It’s not Valencia! But happy living in Villa Metro, right next to a small soccer stadium with screaming kids 12 hours every day, right across the street from railroad tracks with Amtrak and cargo trains that blare horns all day and night and right across from a toxic dump site. I wish I could hurry up and sell the lousy home I bought because of their lies.

I’ve been working for The New Home Company for over three years and have seen the management treat employees as well as customers with great respect. I don’t know where all this negative talk is coming from and I have never heard anyone refer to the company or Mr. Webb in a derogatory fashion before reading some of these posts. Mr. Webb is a great boss.
